Oznur, Serg, Mia's - Birthday Fundraiser | May 2024 update: Constructor Scholarship Project in partnership with the "Smart Future" charitable school, Ukraine

PROJECT UPDATES AS OF MAY 2024

Despite the challenges posed by the current situation in the country, the school system continues to demonstrate resilience and adaptability, enabling teachers to swiftly reschedule classes and ensure student safety when air alerts are issued. This flexibility in classroom scheduling has been made possible by the transition to online learning platforms, which have proven indispensable in maintaining educational continuity during difficult times. Platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Discord facilitate effective distance learning, enabling students to engage from home during alerts. Students can access learning materials and participate in classes from the comfort of their homes, reducing the risks of being in unsafe conditions during an air raid.

COURSES

The organization remains committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child has a chance to succeed. Four Front-End Development Fundamentals courses have commenced. Ninety-two children from challenging backgrounds have been invited to attend the courses, providing access to quality education and empowering them to build promising technological careers. These courses equip young students with basic web development skills, opening doors to future tech careers.

  • Two classes of each course have already been successfully conducted, and positive student feedback has been received.
  • The upcoming fifth course, which started on April 14, promises to expand its reach and impact by offering more students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of front-end development.

The organization extends its efforts to children from all over Ukraine who qualify as vulnerable. It believes that every child deserves equal access to education and opportunities for development regardless of their circumstances.
